Pamela Thompson L.I.C.S.W.
Pam earned her B.S. degree from Metropolitan State University in 1987 and her M.S. degree in School Psychology from MSUM in 1988. She practiced as a school psychologist for 25 years working with children pre-k through grade 12. Pam began counseling in private practice in 1989 as a licensed social worker. In 2003 she opened her own practice, Solutions Counseling Services, Inc. Her current licenses are LICSW and LPC. Special focuses for Pam's practice include EMDR, TFT, ADHD testing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked with children, adults, individuals, couples and families.
Pam is married with 5 grown children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She loves reading, landscaping, family time and taking classes to improve her ability to help her clients.
Ashley Willits M.Ed., LPC, NCC
Ashley earned her Bachelors degree from Minnesota State University in 2011 and graduated from North Dakota State University in 2015 with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She currently is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Minnesota and a National Certified Counselor in the United States. Ashley also attended Oakland University for a certificate in Animal-Human Interventions. Over the past 7 years, Ashley has worked with families experiencing domestic violence and survivors of abuse. She is currently a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
Ashley uses techniques that involve Relational Cultural Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, and various aspects of Play Therapy. Ashley is one of the few practitioners that currently offers Animal Assisted Therapy in the surrounding area.
